Charity Pickup Service collects used clothing and household item donations throughout the Chicago metro region for various charities. Work duties involve (but are not limited to): step van truck driving; repetitive loading and unloading of bags/ boxes of donations; map reading; route planning; servicing donation collection bins; warehouse work; general labor; and daily paperwork/record keeping.Qualified applicants need to have a valid driver's license & clean driving record; be physically able to repetitively lift heavy loads (50+lbs.); read, plot and follow a map; be able to work independently; have a strong work ethic; take pride in representing/helping the missions of various charities (including Vietnam Vets & Purple Heart).Pay Rate: $10/hour w/ OT for FT; $9/hour for PT/training. Some prior driving experience required. No CDL necessary. HC benefits offered to FT drivers after 90 days.
