GENERAL FUNCTIONS:Handles all aspects of Human Relations including, hiring, firing, investigations, union relations, payroll, discipline, yearly reviews and training. Experience Requirements:Require 3 years experience as a HR Generalist JOB DUTIES:•Responsible for all Human Resources functions regarding 400 hourly employees, 10 Supervisors, 20 Operations Managers, 2 Administrators, 3 Director of Operations, and 2 General Managers. •Attract the most qualified employees and matching them to the jobs for which they are best suited•Act as primary contact for all Union Representatives and issues•Coordinate and administer all new hire orientations•Investigate EEOC claims and work with legal team to rectify the situation•Ensure payroll transactions, processing, and distributing are done accurately and in a timely manner•Responsible for Human Resource Information Systems used within the operation including iCims and HCMS. •Work closely with Minority Vendors and ensure that ARAMARK is in minority compliance•Investigate all employee issues reported and document each incident accordingly•Develop and implement Employee Recognition Program•Attend monthly safety meetings and make certain that all safety policies and procedures are being enforced by management•In charge of all employment recruiting, interviewing, hiring and terminating.•Conduct quarterly audits to ensure all personnel paperwork is kept up to date and in proper order•In charge of all aspects concerning background, work authorization and MVR checks•Work with customer to ensure that staffing levels are maintained and quality of staff meet their expectations Location: Navy Pier & McCormick Place Compensation: $50-55kPrincipals only.
